Yes, the Pavilion is a temperature-controlled building, making it suitable for events year-round.

How can I book the venue?

You can book the venue by contacting us via phone or email, and we would be happy to assist you with your booking.

What is the maximum number of guests?

We can host up to 100 guests. We provide 100 garden chairs for outdoor ceremonies and tables and chairs for 100 guests in Hummingbird Hall.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes, we offer a $1,000 discount off the weekend rate and $500 off the weekday rate for active duty military and first responders, provided either the bride or groom is currently serving. We also have periodic promotional discounts from local bridal shows.

Do you provide tables, chairs and linens?

We provide 100 garden chairs for outdoor ceremonies and tables and chairs for 100 guests inside Hummingbird Hall, but we do not provide linens. These can be arranged through your caterer or an outside vendor.

What if it rains or there is inclement weather?

Our Hummingbird Hall can be arranged to accommodate indoor ceremonies and receptions if the weather does not cooperate.

Is a wedding coordinator included and/or required?

We require couples to hire at least a day-of coordinator. The coordinator needs to attend the walk-through and provide the venue manager with the event schedule at least one week before the event.

Can I choose my own vendors?

Yes, outside vendors are welcome but must be pre-approved and provide proof of insurance at least 45 days before the event.

Can we serve alcohol?

Yes, alcohol is allowed, and clients can bring their own, but it must be served by a TABC-certified and insured bartender.

Do we need to hire security for our event?

Yes, two police officers are required during the event, and we can arrange this through the Comal County Sheriff's Department.

Is smoking allowed at the venue?

No, we are a non-smoking venue. Smoking and e-cigarettes are prohibited inside buildings and only allowed in designated areas outside.

Can we use fireworks, sparklers, or confetti for send-off?

Fireworks and confetti are not allowed. Sparklers may be permitted outside with prior approval and adherence to local burn bans.

How are payments scheduled and what forms of payment do you accept?

We accept checks or money orders, with a 50% deposit required to reserve the venue.

What furniture is included with the rental?

We provide chairs, cocktail tables, and various sizes of rectangular tables.

Can we get ready onsite?

Yes, there are lounges with full bathrooms available for the couple and bridal party.

Is smoking allowed on the premises?

No, this is a non-smoking venue; smoking is only allowed 50 feet away from structures.

Do you allow fireworks?

Fireworks are not permitted, but approved special effects can be used.

We highly recommend purchasing Wedding/Event Cancellation Insurance in addition to liability insurance for protection against unexpected events.

Do you have more than one event at a time?

No, we host only one event per day to ensure full attention and service.

Can my vendors pick up items the next day?

Typically, all rentals must be removed at the conclusion of your event, but you may arrange for a pickup the next day if no event is scheduled.

When can I have my rehearsal?

Rehearsals can be scheduled up to 30 days before the event based on availability.

Can we leave our cars for the night after the ceremony?

Yes, you and your guests can leave cars onsite overnight. We recommend removing all items by 11 AM the following morning.
