How far in advance should I book my wedding planner?

It’s best to book your wedding planner as early as possible, ideally 12 to 18 months before your wedding date to ensure availability and ample planning time.

I specialize in wedding and portrait photography with a focus on photojournalistic storytelling. My goal is to capture authentic moments in a candid manner.

Do you offer consultations?

Where are your physical locations?

We have locations in San Antonio at 1826 North Loop 1604 West and in Houston at 4909 Bissonnet Street, Suite 200.

What are your business hours?

We are open every day from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Can you work with our Accounting Department?

Yes, we are able to work with all kinds of payment procedures. The most important part of most procedures is the paperwork necessary on your end. Please leave plenty of preparation or processing time to get the purchase order or other documents completed.

What are your meeting facilities like?

Our facility is a large ranch-style house with a 2400 sq ft Pavilion and 1200 sq ft Pond Patio located on 30 acres. We have indoor and outdoor space for meetings, training, speakers, and teambuilding activities.

What does your daily price include?

Your group will be the only group in our facility, with one staff member on site all day, and access to coffee, iced tea, and water available all day (small per person fee applies for over 20 guests).

What other services do you provide at what charge?

We offer food services, coordinating guest speakers, team-building activities, wellness services, and decorations. Please ask for a current pricing list.

What if it rains on our corporate teambuilding day?

We have beautiful outdoor spaces and an indoor meeting area to accommodate your guests during unusual weather.

What about dishes, tablecloths and decorations?

We use biodegradable or recyclable dishes and provide seasonal decorations. We also have a decorator and florist available upon request.

Our packages vary based on the level of service and customization, starting from $2,000 for basic planning services.

What photography services do you offer?

I offer a variety of photography services including wedding and engagement photography, family portrait sessions, maternity shoots, and senior portraits.

Where are your photoshoots located?

Photoshoots can take place at various recommended locations around the Island of Oahu.

What should I wear for my family photo session?

It's important to dress in a way that makes you feel your best. I provide tips on how to dress for your family photo session!

Do you offer headshot packages?

Yes, I offer packages specifically for LinkedIn profile photos and other professional headshots.

What is the maximum number of guests?

We can host up to 100 guests. We provide 100 garden chairs for outdoor ceremonies and tables and chairs for 100 guests in Hummingbird Hall.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes, we offer a $1,000 discount off the weekend rate and $500 off the weekday rate for active duty military and first responders, provided either the bride or groom is currently serving. We also have periodic promotional discounts from local bridal shows.

Do you provide tables, chairs and linens?

We provide 100 garden chairs for outdoor ceremonies and tables and chairs for 100 guests inside Hummingbird Hall, but we do not provide linens. These can be arranged through your caterer or an outside vendor.

What if it rains or there is inclement weather?

Our Hummingbird Hall can be arranged to accommodate indoor ceremonies and receptions if the weather does not cooperate.

Is a wedding coordinator included and/or required?

We require couples to hire at least a day-of coordinator. The coordinator needs to attend the walk-through and provide the venue manager with the event schedule at least one week before the event.

Can I choose my own vendors?

Yes, outside vendors are welcome but must be pre-approved and provide proof of insurance at least 45 days before the event.

Can we serve alcohol?

Yes, alcohol is allowed, and clients can bring their own, but it must be served by a TABC-certified and insured bartender.

Do we need to hire security for our event?

Yes, two police officers are required during the event, and we can arrange this through the Comal County Sheriff's Department.

Is smoking allowed at the venue?

No, we are a non-smoking venue. Smoking and e-cigarettes are prohibited inside buildings and only allowed in designated areas outside.

Can we use fireworks, sparklers, or confetti for send-off?

Fireworks and confetti are not allowed. Sparklers may be permitted outside with prior approval and adherence to local burn bans.

Do I need to schedule a tour or can I just stop by?

What is your policy on alcohol?

You can bring in your own alcohol as long as it is served by a TABC certified bartender. We have recommendations for that!

We allow some animals with a signed waiver. Any animals that are for ceremonies must have a companion with them following the ceremony or they must be taken off site.

Can we access the river?

We do not allow access to the river on the day of the wedding when guests are present. We do allow first looks at the river and access to the river for bridal portraits and engagement sessions, but a waiver must be signed for this.

What is your capacity?

Our max capacity is 310, but 250 or less is the most comfortable.

How far in advance do you need our final headcount?

We like to have the final guest count 2 weeks prior to the wedding date to finalize catering, floral, and linens.

Is there a food minimum?

We do not have a minimum for food, however, we strongly encourage serving a meal at your wedding, not just appetizers.
