Can I take a virtual tour of the venue?

Yes, we offer a virtual tour of both the Grand Victorian Ballroom and the Puget Suite.

Is there a discount for military personnel?

Yes, we offer a 10% discount on all wedding packages for military personnel with ID, excluding our Classic packages.

What is the capacity for events?

We can accommodate up to 150 guests for outdoor events from April to October, while micro events can be hosted year-round for up to 30 guests indoors.

How would I reserve my date?

You can reserve your date by calling us at 360-865-5683 or emailing hello@ortingmanor.com, along with a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit of 25%.

What is the payment schedule?

The standard payment schedule requires equal payments of 25% at booking, 9 months prior, 6 months prior, and 90 days prior to the event.

Are there overnight accommodations?

Yes! You can rent Orting Manor for the night before or the day of your wedding, with accommodations for up to 16 guests.

Do you have Required Caterers?

We don't have required caterers. All we ask is that they are licensed, insured, full-service caterers. We can provide recommendations.

Is a Wedding Planner Required?

Yes! Hiring a wedding planner is highly encouraged. We now offer planning services ranging from day-of to full planning as part of our packages.

What services do you offer?

We provide a range of services including full-service wedding planning, day-of coordination, and custom wedding design for both Seattle and Tacoma regions.

What is your pricing structure?

Our pricing is tailored to each couple's unique needs and depends on the services required for their special day. We offer free consultations to discuss planning options that suit your budget.

How far in advance should we book your services?

It is recommended to book your wedding planner at least six to twelve months in advance to ensure the best selection of vendors and venues.

How do I reserve Sanders for my big day?

To reserve Sanders for your wedding, you need to act quickly. Reservations are handled on a first-come, first-served basis, requiring a signed rental agreement and a non-refundable deposit of $3000.

Can I bring in my own alcohol?

You are welcome to supply your own alcohol, or select a bar package from Blue Ribbon. However, all alcohol service must be managed by licensed and insured bartenders from Blue Ribbon Cooking. Please note that shots are not allowed.

How do wedding rehearsals work?

A one-hour ceremony rehearsal can be scheduled during the week of your wedding. The rehearsal must be booked at least six weeks before your wedding date and is subject to availability and applicable fees.

Do you provide décor?

Yes, we offer a variety of tablecloths, table runners, and napkins. We are happy to assist in realizing your vision for décor, and you are also allowed to bring your own.

Is smoking allowed on the property?

Smoking is permitted only in the designated outdoor smoking area; it is strictly prohibited inside the mansion.

How long am I allowed on the property?

The standard rental is for eight hours, but additional time can be reserved for a fee.

What time does the music have to be off?

Music must be turned off by 10 PM.

What is the maximum capacity of the space?

The venue can accommodate up to 450 guests.

Is there onsite parking available?

Yes, there is a parking lot that can accommodate up to 200 cars.

Can I stay overnight?

Yes, overnight accommodations are available—please check our ‘Overnight Rental’ tab for details.

Do you provide sound equipment?

Sound equipment is available for rental; please inquire about pricing and availability.

Are there handicap accessible restrooms?

Yes, handicap accessible restrooms are located on the basement level of the mansion.

Can we do a potluck style wedding?

No, you are required to have food provided by a licensed and insured caterer.
