Can I stay in a Cottage if I am not having an event?

Our cottages are exclusively available for guests attending our weddings and events. They can be reserved for either one night or multiple nights.

What is your alcohol policy?

Guests are required to provide their own alcohol, which will be served by our staff. Any leftover alcohol will be packed up and returned to you post-event. The bartending package includes a bartender, ice, cups, napkins, liability insurance, and the presence of an off-duty police officer during the serving of alcohol.

How do I secure my date?

To reserve your date, a 50% deposit of the venue fee along with a signed contract is necessary.

What form of payments do you accept?

We accept various payment methods including cash, checks, ACH transfers (with a capped fee of $29.00), and credit/debit cards (subject to a 3.5% fee). A financing program is also available for qualified couples.

What does the Planner and Day of Coordinator do?

Our packages include planner and day-of coordinator services, ensuring a smooth experience with up to four planning meetings, two vendor meetings, a rehearsal walkthrough, and full-day coordination.

Where do I get my marriage license?

Residents of Georgia should obtain their marriage license from their respective county offices. Since we are located in Forsyth County, your officiant will need this information to sign your license.

What if it rains on my wedding day?

Good venues always have backup plans. At Cold Creek Farm, we have indoor spaces ready if the weather turns bad.

How early should I book a mountain venue?

Book 12-18 months ahead, especially for fall dates when leaves change colors.

Can older guests handle a mountain venue?

Yes! Pick venues with good paths and easy access to all areas. Our venue is fully accessible.

What about mountain weather in different seasons?

Each season needs different planning. We help couples prepare for any weather situation.

Agape Acres provides a private venue for weddings, including extensive amenities and experienced coordinators to assist in planning and executing the event.

What is the capacity of the venue?

The venue can comfortably accommodate up to 120 guests for indoor ceremonies and up to 112 guests in the chapel.

Do you offer on-site wedding planning services?

Yes, our experienced team provides full wedding planning services, vendor management, and day-of coordination to ensure everything runs smoothly.

How many guests can the venue accommodate?

We can comfortably handle up to 280 guests with rectangular table seating & 200 guests with round table seating.

Is there a preferred vendor list or can we bring our own?

We have a list of high-quality vendors with a proven track record of great products and services. Variations to our vendor list can be discussed on a limited basis.

What is the backup plan for inclement weather for outdoor ceremonies?

Your wedding planner will decide if the ceremony will be inside or outside on the morning of the event, prior to setup.

Can we take photos with the bison?

Yes, we strive to facilitate experiences for capturing photographs with the bison, given optimal conditions and ranch operations.
