Our barn can comfortably hold up to 240 people.

Yes, we offer both indoor and outdoor onsite ceremonies with the ability to move your ceremony indoors if weather does not permit.

What are your rental fees?

Our room rental fee depends on which room and what time of year you choose to book.

No, we don’t require any catering or beverage minimums.

What is included with the room rental?

The room rental includes as many tables and chairs as needed with complimentary white table linens. We also handle all setup and cleanup.

What is your capacity?

We can fit up to 400 guests in our Crystal Commons, 200 in our Pinnacle Room, and 350 in The Ruby.

What is the average total budget of a couple getting married at your venue?

Most couples have a wedding budget between $15,000 and $30,000.

What happens in the case of rain?

We include an indoor weather backup option with our ceremony fee.

How do I book my date?

To officially book your wedding date, sign a contract and pay a 50% deposit.

How are payments structured?

An initial 50% deposit is due upon booking, with the balance due 6 months out and final payment 1 month prior.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept debit/credit cards, checks, or cash.

Do you keep a cancellation list?

Our online availability calendar is live, so any cancellations will be updated there.

Does Lake Windsor cater?

Yes, we offer a full in-house catering service.

What catering options are available?

You can choose any licensed caterer, but if you cater through Lake Windsor, you can receive a discount.

How long do we have the room for?

You will have access from 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM the night of your event.

Will there be any staff present day-of?

An event manager will be present, along with servers and bartenders throughout the day.

What time must the music and bar conclude?

We recommend the DJ end by midnight, with last call at that time.

Real candles are permitted but must be contained to prevent fire hazards.

What facilities are available?

Kestrel Ridge offers a ballroom that accommodates 250 guests, equipped with tables, chairs, a private bar, and a landscaped outdoor ceremony space.

Do you provide food and beverage service?

Yes, the Kestrel Ridge Golf Course has a fully licensed bar and an extensive menu of food options available for purchase.

How do we secure a date?

To secure your date, contact Event Coordinator Nickie Klahn at 608-206-5849 to sign a contract and pay the non-refundable deposit.

What is included with the wedding rental?

The wedding rental includes the use of the farm for the weekend, an on-site coordinator, bridal suites, tables and chairs for up to 300 guests, a mobile bar, ceremony setup, and beautiful scenic spots for photos.

Can we choose our caterer?

Yes, clients can work with any caterer they prefer, and we welcome pig roasts or food trucks.

What are the reservation and cancellation policies?

A $1,200 reservation fee is due within 7 days of booking and is non-refundable but applicable to an alternate date. If cancelling within 30 days of the event, all payments will be forfeited.
