What does a blank canvas event venue mean?

At The Hardy Building, we offer only the space and listed amenities, giving you total control over all other details such as timelines, table layouts, and decorations.

Can we book in person?

Contracts for The Hardy Building are signed online which allows you time to review the details before committing. We encourage an in-person tour first.

When is the required departure time?

All guests and vendors must leave by 11 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, and by 10 PM from Sunday to Thursday.

What is included in my rental fee?

The rental fee includes 200 black chairs, twenty 8' x 30" rectangular tables, 2 custom wood tables, six 6' rectangular tables, one 4' round table, and 6 cocktail tables.

Is the Hardy Building wheelchair accessible?

Yes, The Hardy & Son Room and W. H. Lounge are wheelchair accessible, including accessible restrooms. The Elmer Room, however, is not wheelchair accessible.

Can I hire my own vendors?

Yes, you are allowed to hire your own vendors as long as they are approved and provide evidence of proper licensing and liability insurance.

What are your alcohol policies?

How late can music be played?

Music must conclude by 10 PM on weekends and by 9 PM on weekdays.

What is required to book and hold my date?

To reserve your date, a signed contract and a non-refundable initial payment of 50% of the rental fee is required.

Can I bring my own decorations?

Yes, you can bring your own decorations, but certain items are prohibited.

Who is in charge of setup and breakdown?

The customer and their vendors are responsible for all setup and breakdown within the allowed time.

Do you host more than one event at the same time?

No, we do not host more than one event simultaneously.

Will there be staff present during our event?

A staff member will be on-site to unlock doors and address questions but will not coordinate or plan events.

Do you require a day-of coordinator?

Yes, a day-of coordinator must be designated for weddings.

Is event insurance required?

Yes, event insurance is mandatory for weddings and events.

How do I schedule a tour of the venue?
